We have been invited to serve at the FFP. The pantry serves about 225 families each month and is staffed entirely by volunteers. Workers can serve up front, interacting with clients as they “shop” for food. Those who speak Spanish, Portuguese, or Russian will find those skills especially helpful. Those who like to schlepp can serve in the stockroom, sorting donations and bringing up bulk food items for distribution. We will go out for lunch to a nearby Brazilian restaurant (Terra Brasilis) afterward. Children are welcome to come with their parents and high school students can get credit for community service hours.

Sign up for the human dog sled pull and then warm up by the fire pits. Taste and vote for your favorite entries in the People’s Choice chili and the mac and cheese contests! End the day by Wassailing the Orchard, led by our singing, costumed troupe.
