Launched in April 2007, Dreamfar Triathlon is a growing club of triathletes of all ages and levels, from novice to ironman, educating and inspiring each other. Dreamfar focuses on introducing newbies to all aspects of triathlon, as well as furthering the knowledge and experience of intermediate athletes, in a supportive and social community.

We have lots of great team events coming up, so stay tuned! Triathlon is an awesome sport, which benefits us in innumerable ways, and we have an amazing community, so why not share the good vibes?!
Invite your friends, family, coworkers, acquaintances at the gym, anyone you think has a slight interest in triathlon, to come join us for an event or workout.
We all start as beginners, and we all know that triathlon can be intimidating when you are just starting out. Maybe someone you know just needs a little nudge and guidance to get started. Be the nudge for them, share the good vibes and help them explore a healthy, new adventure!

Bike Workout: We'll do an out and back ride on the bike path, toward the other direction. Up to 75 minutes. This is a no drop ride.
Run Workout: Out and back on the bike path. Up to 20 minutes.
Gear Needed: Bike, helmet, gloves, sunglasses, water bottle, bike shoes (if applicable), tire repair kit on bike, ID and emergency cash, running sneakers. Check Tire Pressure Friday night.

Click the links to familiarize yourself with the route, and load it to your phone app, or bike computer. We lead no drop rides, but it's good to be empowered, and know where you're going, and what the terrain is like.

Swim (Following the Bike) - Drills to acclimate to water. 500 yard swim, if temps allow.
Gear Needed: Wetsuit (encouraged), booties/gloves (optional), swim cap (thermal optional), goggles, ear plugs (can help prevent headache in cold water), towel, swim buoy, sandals, sneakers, bike, helmet, gloves, sunglasses, water bottle, bike shoes (if applicable), tire repair kit on bike, snacks, hat/visor, ID and emergency cash. Fees can be paid to Coach Jean via cash, check to Dreamfar Triathlon or Venmo @Jean-Gillis.
Fees cover team expenses like the annual Race Mania Expo, website fees, USAT club listing etc.
Please note that a membership with USA Triathlon is required as part of your membership to Dreamfar. The membership with USAT provides you with insurance that protects you during training and racing.

We train most Saturday mornings at Walden Pond during triathlon season (8am-12pm May-Sept). We welcome all curious triathletes come join us for a FREE swim, bike, run and breakfast session and see if we are the team for you!
